Brian Jones Black History Is For Everyone Book Event

On January 21st, Brian Jones came to Chilo’s and gave an absolutely electric talk about his new book Black History is for Everyone! The crowd was riveted, drinks and tacos were oyously consumed, and Brian brought some serious knowledge so this absolutely will not be our last bar book event. Thank you to Haymarket Books and to everyone who showed up and showed out! Chilo’s isn’t polished and that’s the point. We’re a laid-back bar with strong drinks, good music, live TVs, and a taco truck out back. Come as you are, stay as long as you want.
